School Meals

AUTUMN (2)/SPRING (1) MENU CHANGE

PLEASE NOTE:

We will be expanding our dining facilities over the half term break to allow us to offer hot meals once again from November.

Please click here for the revised menu which will run from November 2020 until February 2021, on a fortnightly basis.

We are excited to be cooking again, albeit with a more simplified offer than usual.

Thank you for your support.

Meals are prepared in our own kitchen by our school cook Mrs Sandalls and her assistants, Mrs Hart and Mrs Campbell.

Eating in school is part of the children's social experience and staff regularly join the children and encourage good table manners

We would usually offer the choice of a hot meal or vegetarian alternative, plus a drink and dessert.

School meals are free to all Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children.

We have a considerable number of children who have severe allergies to certain foodstuffs. The provision of food is carefully monitored by the catering team. Parents can speak to Mrs Sandalls at any time about requirements for their child. Parents are requested NOT to put NUTS of any kind in lunch boxes. This also means NO PEANUT BUTTER FILLINGS OR CHOCOLATE SPREAD in sandwiches.

For further advice and suggestions for lunch boxes please click here
