Consultation on Reception Admissions Arrangements for 2020/2021

Please click here for a copy of the proposed Reception admissions arrangements for St John the Evangelist Infant and Nursery School for 2020-21.

The major changes are as follows and highlighted in red on the policy:
- removal of the sub-criteria (under oversubscription criteria C and D), relating to catchment area siblings, as the full 7 years have passed since the catchment area was redefined
- update of Note 4 on permanent home address to bring it in line with the West Berks Reception Admissions Policy, which acknowledges that family circumstances vary and has identified how different cases will be considered

Should you wish to make any comments, please send them to the Chair of Admissions, marked Admissions Consultation, via the following email address: soffice@stjohnev.w-berks.sch.uk, or by post at the school address (Old Newtown Road, Newbury, Berkshire, RG14 7DE). The consultation period runs until 28th January 2019.
